Home again, home again, jiggedy jig.

Well I'm back home after visiting ph8 this morning, and meeting Arthur (whom I've been working with virtually for over a week now, but had never met in person). We got together and discussed the amazing amount of work Fiona has lined up for us, trying to get it all into some sort of perspective.

We've got a lot too do but we worked pretty well on our first project together - despite project hassles, tight deadlines, and a team of three who'd never worked together before. Once we all learn our strengths and weaknesses as a team things will just get better... and easier :)

The train was okay coming home... until just after Strathfield. We just sat there for almost 40minutes without a word of explanation from StateRail. It's not unusual, it happens all the time in Sydney, but it was infuriating. I made it back with plenty of time to pick up the boys though so I guess I should just count it as extra reading time. I got a lot of the way through "Lunar Park", which I'm enjoying immensely, so it wasn't a complete waste.... but those train seats! So uncomfortable.

Cobweb had to spent most of the day on her own, but seemed to cope without a problem. She's awake and lively now that the boys are home. I'm glad the three of them get on, or I might have had to take the boys to the pound and keep Cobweb (just kidding.... no really, just kidding).

I'm off again tomorrow morning to meet a potential client to discuss their inhouse intranet so I'm guessing I won't actually get much work done then either.

Luckily I'm in my "insomnia" phase at the moment (normally about 3-4weeks every 6mths in which I can only sleep 3-4 hours a night). Eventually that phase will pass, but in the meantime it means I'll be getting most of my work done at night... when everyone else is in bed and it's quiet!

Hey Andrew... I'm glad to hear that your projects are coming along well. I hope all continues to go smoothly for you. Take care of Cobweb...you never know how long with have with them, until they're gone. This insomnia of yours sounds like a double edges blade -hugs-

Sorry to hear about MowMow, Katskie :(

I'll definitely take care of Cobweb. Life is short and very precious. I hope you have the fondest memories you could ever have of your time with MowMow.
