I missed out on posting last night (I think night/evening is going to be my LJ posting time) because I came down with a godawful neck-cramp headache. I think it was the heat more than anything, but nevertheless, I was in bed before 9.30pm and slept right through until 7.30. That's very unusual for me, especially since my sleep has been almost non-existent lately.

Woke up quite refreshed today! Completed the Reports Section for the site I've been working on (although it may still need some changes) and fixed up a few errors we've picked up here and there.

I've had the air-conditioner on all day but it's still hot.... nowhere near as hot as outside though! When I went to pick the boys up from school it really hit me! It is REALLY hot out there. So inside is not as bad as I thought.

The roast went well the other night and I polished off what was left on a sandwich with salad today for lunch. I marinated some lamb steaks in rosemary, mint, lemon juice, garlic, cinnamon and nutmeg for dinner last night... which the boys turned their noses up at and then smothered in BBQ sauce! Why do I bother?

Tonight? Who knows. I still haven't planned that far ahead yet.

Karen Miller's had a read through the interview I did with her a couple of weeks ago. She had a couple of small changes to make (and picked up some attrocious grammar I'd missed) so I've got to get that finished tonight and publish the interview, and my review of Innocent Mage, to the OzHorrorScope site. Once the kids are in bed, that's my priority anyway :)

Wow! Two posts in one day.

I just went out to water the back garden and discovered a marvellous sight! The garden is fruiting like crazy.

The chillies, which have been hanging off the tree like big green bananas, are finally turning red. I was able to pick two but more will be ready by tomorrow. There are so many the poor chilli tree looks like it can't hold the weight anymore. I think by the end of the week I'll have almost 30 big red chillies! Chillie Jam I think... or maybe...

The Roma tomatoes are also plump, and juicy, and red....

And the capsicums have a great mix of reds and greens.

By the end of the week I'll have enough of all of the above to make a Salsa! Yeah, that's what I'll do :)

There were also some Strawberries too! Not many, just enough for me to sample their deliciousness whilst I watered the rest of the garden :)
