Where is everyone today!? Is nobody interested in buying a book?

I've been sitting in this shop for 3 1/2 hours now and had a grand total of 4 customers! My first customer didn't even walk in the door until 10.30 am.

Are people finally feeling the interest rise pinch? Are credit card bills all due this week and there is no money for books? Or is the day outside just too nice that everyone is out enjoying themselves in the sun?

I'm not sure, but whatever the reason, it is damn boring sitting here twiddling my thumbs.

It's the whole No Music thing. Only shop I ever worked in where I wasn't bored, even if I was busy, was a music store. Get music, and you wont be bored. Tell your boss.

Yes, I need music but I can't get the speakers to work on the PC. Not good really, considering that I'm the one who installed the new PC in the store!

There is a music store next door run by two friends of mine, but they generally have to play more subdued music so as not to offend the customers. If we had our way they'd be playing something much louder!
